When HBO launched in The Netherlands a few years back, I was commissioned to bring the promos to life with some bespoke sound design.
In each case, I created all sounds from scratch as there was no way to isolate the sounds from the music score of each individual film. This made the project extra fun, as it gave me a chance to approach each promo as one would a feature film.
I used a combination of synthesis, foley, library and creative mixing to turn this project around.
